If I was a month …
If I had to be a month of the year, I wouldn’t choose to be January. It gets a bit of a rough deal following Christmas and all the festivities. Then there are all those miserable resolutions that people make, that usually involve people being miserable!
I have a birthday in January so as I get older that is another reason to be wary of the first month of the year.
However, here in the UK, it is often the time that we get snow. That changes January!
This post is for Jenny Matlock’s Alphabe-Thursday letter ‘J’. Do go and see the others.
Funny post! And such great photos. You almost reconcile me to snow.
Not completely, but almost!
B-r-r-r-r to January. I love the last photo!
We have several family birthday’s in January and I think they all feel the same way.
I lucked out with April!
Almost always a lovely month!
Thanks for sharing your snowy little post.
A+
Wonderful chilly pictures, but if I were a month, I wouldn’t choose January. I was born the end of September, and the changing leaves and fall air are fine with me.
Ahh winter. It can be so pretty … and so cold. I like winter, it just needs to be shorter, now that I am older.
My birthday’s in the summer – when all my school friends used to be away on holiday! So I view summer months (for birthdays, at least) as not welcome either!
Interesting post for *J*! Here’s mine!
My sentiments about January I also have a birthday ,just had 50th ot the annual celebration.
June would be my month as it has the loooooongest day.
I don’t think I could choose because I love the autumn but the sun is nice too!
September, a month full of new beginnings after the long summer.
I think that October would be my pick. Born in October, and love the colors of fall, but also I think because October is just about the time of life I am in now. Not young but not quite older yet!
You sound very settled!
I think I’d pick May…not too hot, not too cold, just right ☺
I can see where you’re coming from!
pretty snow pictures. My birthday is in January too – last week. Happy Birthday to you! {:-D
Many thanks!
I love October, First because I was born in October. Second, I love fall colors.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
I’m with you on the colours!
Cute post! I think I’d be May — the flowers are blooming and it’s not yet scorching hot!
I agree. I think I’d pick June if I had to be a month..
