An Award – for ME!

My dear friend Clare over at A Modern Military Mother has given me this award. I am truly overcome because for my blog to be considered as having substance was truly amazing. If you see the definitions of ‘Substance’ you’ll understand why I feel so touched by it.

Substance (OED): solid basis in reality; importance; the most important part or meaning

High praise indeed – so many thanks Clare & such an appropriate time as those of you who follow my blog will know!  One of the ‘rules’ of receipt was to sum up my blogging philosophy in 5 words. Well, I’ve not been doing it very long & I’m learning all the time but at the moment my philosophy would be that I write about

Things  close to my heart

I now pass this award onto others who for me are far more deserving. My list could go on for pages but I have been good & limited myself!

Holly at It’s a Mummy’s Life

Henrietta at Marketing to Milk

Rosie at Rosie Scribble

Nataliya at Suburban Mummy UK

Chris at Thinly Spread

Paula at Battling On

and although he may have a problem with the badge (!)

Gary at Blog Up North

Rules:

1. Thank the blogger who awarded it to you.
2. Sum up your blogging philosophy, motivation, and experience using five words.
3. Pass it on to some other blogs which you feel have real substance.

    I’m so sorry Julia – I thought I’d already thanked you and obviously I haven’t – how very rude…

You are indeed a Blogger of Substance and your award is much deserved, thank you for mine. I’ll be giving it some thought xx

  • Your blog is great!! I think we never quite see the value in our own things while thinking everyone else is great:) So that makes you perfectly normal. Well done:) Jen
