A Surprise Hug!
Yesterday, I tweeted that I had found a lovely bunch of tulips by the door. There was no note or anything to indicate where they had come from. Here they are
Later I got an email from the sender explaining that she had popped in to see if I was OK. I was so touched by her kindness. The reason for her concern can be read here ‘Governors – Friend or Foe? She is a member of the team that supports governors in my area and knows how hard the job can be.
For her to take time out to even think of me was so lovely but to send flowers – truely wonderful!

There’s something about tulip and there is something about roses. I like both but this time of year you ‘love the one you’re with’. Tulips light up a room after the grey days. How sweet that a friend wanted to brighten your day.

Was summoned for Jury Duty…spent two hours at the court house amongst 70 or so others….but I was excused. Can’t say I was disappointed♫♪ Lovely tulips!
I had that sort of experience when I was called for Jury Duty. Went in for the next 3 days – same thing. When we finally got into court the case was dismissed within an hour!!

My big sister, Sue, called while I was at work this morning and asked me to call her — she’d read my poem, and thought I might need a shoulder to sob on. Fortunately, I don’t, but we’ll have a great conversation anyway!
It was my birthday on Friday and my friend from church with assistance from my Mum and Dad had a surprise party for me! It was awesome!
