Weekly Photo Challenge – Journey
This is a picture of a road in Rille in the Loire district of France. It is representative of many French roads – long, straight and empty – but always holding the adventure of a journey!
Supporting you with Listening Ear, useful blogs and general silliness!
Always enjoy a journey down the road and into the clouds 🙂 Like a plane at the end of a runway, it makes me feel like I can fly! Great take on the theme. http://firstandfabulous.wordpress.com/
I live in the middle of the United States, Kansas, and this looks like roads I drive every day! Amazing because I think of France as mysterious and filled with vineyards and cafes…LOL!
Beautiful photograph. Perfect for this week’s theme. Wonderful post.
I enjoy journeys like this – the excitement of not knowing exactly what you will find at the end of the road.
I like these “road to nowhere” types of photos. Hope I can make it to France one day–I’ll add it to the list! Happy holiday, Julia.
You must Terry. There are so many wonderful sights!
I like:always holding the adventure of a journey!: This road is so straight it looks like it goes on forever. Love it.
Glad of that!
A very nice shot with good composition and colours are so serene 🙂
I didn’t have anything to do with the colours! 😉
Nice shot! I also thought of this view for this week’s challenge but I couldn’t find my photo from my files 😀
Thanks for the visit and comment on my site 😀
Pleasure!
I love French roads in summer when there are sunflowers for miles! You have captured a great sky here:-)
Thanks Gilly. At times the roads can seem lonely but then when you are planning a journey, it is easy driving with so little traffic!
