Characters at Broomhill
Broomhill Art Hotel and Sculpture Garden is hidden away down a track that you really wouldn’t notice unless you were looking for it and had the map in your hand. It is not one of those neatly laid out places where the grass is trimmed and the flowers are all looking in the right direction. It is a collection of levels and nature that just demands you go on an adventure and when you do – you find all sorts of wondrous things!
There are many different types of sculpture in the acreage that you can explore. There are few labels, not even names to some but that is done on purpose. The idea is for the visitor to do some work and use their imagination.
This is the first in a series of posts about this amazing place. I use the word amazing not as in ‘Wow’ but in, well, that has made me think. This post is about characters, people (well sort of) that we saw.
More characters we saw can be seen in this post ‘A’ over at Relentless Optimism
Which of these ‘folks’ would you like to meet and what would you say to them?
