The 2 chairs in the bottom left corner add a lovely air of rest to your picture, of stopping and taking time to ponder thoughts or to appreciate nature.

my my, very beautiful picture, great framing and nice architecture . perfect 🙂
Super picture. Very atmospheric.
I do so like the lighting coming in from the right. Good job!
Cool! Reminds me of the final scenes of the movie, “Charade”. What a great movie, by the way.

Madrigals, thats what I would like to hear. Is Fountains a ruined abbey or is it still ‘working’ for want of the right word!
It’s a ruin but a very substantial and beautiful one, on the edge of the Yorkshire Moors. There’s a lovely daffodil walk nearby at this time of year.
I feel a pull, a beckoning to enter in this photo. I agree with one of the other commenters. I can almost hear the chanting of hymns too.
Love this!
I have seen many of these places because i love em’ and yours is brill’ love to be there well done 😉
Nice!
Lovely symmetry!

Love it! I can her the echoes of the hymns being sung and prayers being said. Lovely, holy place.
