My Week – 5th December
This is a bit late but it was quite a week! It was full of celebrations for the whole family.
You will all know about the publication of Woman and Home with the article about me and 100 Word Challenge. I am getting folks getting in touch which is wonderful, even someone who wants to join the commenting team!
My son was successful in his interview for a headship of a primary school. He is only 38 so has made it into the top job 5 years younger than I was when I got my first post as a head.
In the world of education blogs, it is now awards time, which is rather like the Oscars only without the parties! Colleagues nominate, a panel shortlists then the 'public' is invited to vote. It all happens online so it is a bit surreal. Well, 100 Word Challenge is a finalist in the category for best educational use of social networking and @theheadsoffice (that's me!) is up for the lifetime achievement award!
I decided that I was eating too much bread so rather than grabbing a sandwich, I was pleased to get into salads despite it being a bit cold.
So, a week of high adrenaline that needed lots of coffee breaks with my wonderful hubby!
No idea what you two are up to!
What a whirlwind week! 😀 😀
Tess, she’s holding out on you -there’s more to be told yet!
Really? I must be attentive and on the lookout for more updates. 🙂
