Should You Join Twitter?

I have recently gathered lots of new followers on Twitter from the University of Plymouth. I know there has been a push from lecturers to get students blogging and generally engaging in social media. For some it has been an exciting adventure. For others, there is a nervousness and a bit of a puzzlement about why they should engage in this new world.

Twitter has passed the threshold from possibilities to realised potential.  It is a ‘must have’ essential for headteachers, subject/class teachers and those in education as a whole.
