Resource Centre – Week #12

The re-launch of the Resource Centre last week was amazing for links to some great ideas for arts and crafts in classrooms! We had all sorts of things among them paint sprayers from Sun Hats & Wellies, paper kites from Fabmums and a great way to use colour cards from Sweet and Simple Things.
One of the ideas linked ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ to an activity . The idea is that you use a book for the focus and build craft / art activities around it. The brilliant Michelle over at A Mommy’s Adventures came up with the fantastic title of ‘stART’ for this approach and a number of crafters link with books in this way.    If you would like to give me the name of books that you are using, I will see if we can find some links to specific crafts for you! The more notice you give the crafters the more chance they will be able to help!
In the meantime, crafters please link below. Teachers please visit, use and comment on the ideas. The crafters would really appreciate some comments. As before please note that some ideas may need slight adaption for classrooms but easily done! I have used thumbnails so that you will have an idea of what the activity is about.
