My Sunday Photo

I feel I should apologise for yet another photo of me but this was such a momentous week and it is not often I get dressed up in my witches finery!

I was visiting a school to share 100 Word Challenge and it was Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday and the school was dressing up as their favourite characters from the great man’s books.

As a visitor, I felt I had to go along with it so got hold of all the gear, including a plastic nose with a very fetching wart on the end! It was a very hot day (28-30 degrees) so I was boiling hot in my thick black tights. I wore my costume into each classroom but then asked permission to take my hat and nose off so that I wouldn’t faint.

Thankfully, the children were gracious and gave me permission!
