Garden Diary #1
Our garden has been developing for a number of years and to be honest, we still haven’t finally decided what we want from it. I do like to see colour especially in the spring and summer months but having a lot of pots which need planting up can be a bit daunting.
We have decided to go for a ‘mix and match’ approach this year so I have put in some perennial plants together with some seeds that should attract bees and butterflies. I’ve decided to try to log the progress of my efforts, so here is #1.
I do like ‘new’soil but will be impatient to see green shoots!
Do pop back & see how they grow. I have been down this morning (4 days later) but not much action yet!!
There is something so wonderful about growth in the garden. But is a garden ever finished? Surely an ongoing work in progress where you find space for new plants, older ones mature, a space for relaxation and play, it evolves as we age and change.
You’re quite right Isobel. Nature has a way of indicating what she would like!
I love watching things grow. Must be why we love gardening, large or small. <3 <3
