100 Word Challenge for Grown Ups – Week#147
Continuing with the election theme (well we are fed up with it so I’m just sharing with you dear Reader!) we had a Leaders Debate last week. Last election we had the first ever televised debates between the parties at the time. I think there were 3 of them each covering a different aspect for the politicians to talk about.
This time, mainly because of David Cameron, our present Prime minister, stamping his feet, instead of the 3 ‘main’ parties, there is to only be one debate with many of the parties with representatives in Parliament! It is likely to be a minority government so the little parties will be key to whoever is leading it so in a way it was good to hear them.
So the prompt will give you an idea of what it was like. It is:
