100 WC for Grown Ups – Week#2
This is a weekly challenge for all those writers who want to extend their audience to get feedback on their work.
Thank you all for your amazing entries last week! We had some truly creative pieces.I was delighted that you took up the challenge. It was really interesting following conversations on Twitter from the teachers who regularly enter their class on the children’s version. Suddenly, they realised just how difficult it is to restrict the number of words you can use. One even suggested that all teachers should take part to have the experience before asking the children! We’ll have to see if that catches on!
This week the prompt is a picture. I would love to know which you prefer. Do drop me a note in the comments so that I can plan the next few weeks. The rules are that you:
1. Write a piece using the prompt and only 100 words
2. Post it on your blog with a link back here then others will visit you(You are welcome to use the badge. Just click on the tab ‘Head’s Office badges & copy the code)
3. Go and visit some of the other entries. It is sharing that helps improve the writing!
Here’s this weeks prompt. The link will remain open until Midnight on 25th July
