Do you ache in the morning? Check out Turmeric+!
Aches and pains are not the prerogative of us more mature folks. It can happen to the best of us and the fittest but what do you do when the bits that should move ache when you try? Well to find the answer to that question, I’m going to be a guinea pig!
Are you patient? I’m not. I was always one to pop a pill if something ached. I couldn’t wait for ‘my body to deal with it’. Don’t worry we’re not talking heavy duty heroin or cannabis – just painkillers. As I’ve got older, I’ve realised that it is better to listen to nature and what my body is telling me so the medication is much reduced.
Instead, I have looked at natural remedies, not to solve problems as such but to enrich my health so a daily fish oil tablet is swallowed together with some soya isoflavones. That said, I have had a ‘dicky back’ for years, a hamstring that is often tight and after my newly discovered pilates sessions I certainly ache, so when the folks at Future You contacted me about working together, I was interested.
Future You Turmeric+
Herbs and spices have been used for centuries to aid healing and improve health. I’m sure you all have your own pet cure probably passed down from mum or grandma. One spice that I had never connected with promoting good health was turmeric. The most I knew about it was it turns rice yellow (and your fingers!) and is used in curries. Well, it does more than that!
Turmeric, the main spice in curry, is arguably the most powerful herb on the planet at fighting and potentially reversing disease.
Pretty impressive eh?
So, after doing research and asking friends who know about this stuff, I discovered it is great for joints and muscles, both repair and keeping healthy so I’m going to trial it. I have 30 tablets and took the first on 1st August. Although you can take two, I will take one a day and log how I feel. Do come back at the end of the month to see how I get on.
