Look!

The theme for the Gallery this week is ‘Faces’. You would think that with all the people in the world that it would be an easy one. Once again I struggled although I did pass a man with a completely tattood face but didn’t have a camera or phone to hand!

So, I have strayed slightly (only slightly Tara). We visited the fabulous Yorkshire Sculpture Park and were treated to the mosy wonderful exhibition of work from Spanish artist Jaume Plensa. He is an amazing artist who explores the senses in his pieces. Among those that you will see (exhibition is open until 22nd January 2012) is a curtain of poetry made up of metal strings of words. In another room you can explore the sounds of enormous gongs and outside there are his tree huggers!

The pieces that really made me take a sharp in take of breath were these.Enjoy!
