Food glorious food!

The theme over at the Gallery today is ‘Food’.

Now I’m often taking photos of meals and dishes set before me but on looking through my selection most of them have something in common other than being delicious. They are all BIG!

A starter of chicken in New York. We shared this (thank goodness!)

An adventure with seafood in La Rochelle. We had one each!! Mind there are lots of shells aren’t there?!

I decided that all this enormity was not good for the waist-line so have shared 2 photos with another shared theme – my 60th birthday.

This delicacy with the writing was presented to me by the waiter in the hotel we were staying in at the time.

Some of you will have seen this one before! It is the marvellous birthday cake my son and daughter-in-law arranged for my party.It may have been a couple of years ago but it still makes me smile!
