Food for Flight!
Now, I know when Tara over at Sticky Fingers set the theme of ‘Food’ for this week’s Gallery she was probably not thinking of these tasty morsels! However, as I have explained before, the birds in our garden dine out on the finest food. They are quite picky and will only have high quality ingredients.
I’ve also discovered that they need comfort when the weather is bad. As you know if you live in the UK and will have seen on news channels abroad, the weather has been appalling. Not only is it not summer, it would make a bad winter! So, just like us humans, the birds cheer themselves up with food. They are eating me out of house and garden!!
Just love your take on the theme! Poor little birds…
great food theme. I live in Derbyshire, UK ans so far not had any summer, just 1 hot week in april
So that is the Julia Cafeteria!
Lucky birds.
I like that idea!
What a great take on “food.” I love having a bird feeder!
we have a yard and despite trying I can’t attract birds to the garden.
This makes me want a proper garden! *crosses fingers* it will come.
Tubs & pots with lavender would be good. That brings insects & when there are insects there are birds!
Great take on the theme Julia!
Thank you!
I still have to try and recognise the different songs of many of the birds we have here in France, they are feasting on some of my strawberries and worms in the garden – they are vital for our gardens and provide such entertainment!
Need to educate them to leave the strawbs I reckon!
We really need to get a bird table as I used to spend hours watching the comings and goings on ours when I was a kid. Great photo
A unique take on the food theme!! The older I get, the more I love watching the birdies.
They cn be great time wasters but my excuse is that they help me relax!
A great different take on food!
Fantastic! That reminds me I have to fill the feeders!
Don’t you let them go hungry! 😉
Yay! I can see it 🙂 it must be grea t watch the birds eat away. We don’t have a garden really but they boys like to watch the birds feed at my mums
I could waste hours!
