Children in the Abbey
This week’s Gallery theme is ‘Children’. I have chosen to share with you a beautiful sculpture in the grounds of Tewksbury Abbey. It represents the world in unison through children.
Tewksbury is a great place to visit. It has Tudor houses, historical connections with the Wars of the Roses as well as being subjected to floods on fairly regular occasions. A sad headline for the town was the collapse of Eric Morecambe at the town’s Roses Theatre. He later died in Cheltenham.
Now pop over to Sticky Fingers to see some more Children posts!
Lovely x
That is so cool Julia…I want to go there. Now I’m singing Row Row Row Your Boat! 😉

Very striking sculpture. Brilliant take on the theme.
I love the significance of that sculpture. I’m often visiting family in Worcester, but have never been to Tewkesbury – I’ll have to pay it a visit!
