UK Blog Awards – Highly Commended

Many of you were kind enough to vote for me when the nominations were open for the UK Blog Awards 2017. Thank you all very much, because I was a finalist!
On Friday 21st April at the prestigious ceremony event not only were winners announced but also those blogs that were highly commended and THIS BLOG was one of them!!!
This is what the organisers said when they contacted me:

Out of the 2,000 entries and nominations received, your content reached the finals after the support of your community via the public vote. The purpose of the public vote illustrates how influential your content is online and whether you have 600 or 600,000 followers, the power of online influence shines through with our finalists.
Your content was then assessed against a rigorous criterion and there were literally points between you and the winning content at this year’s awards – you should be super proud of your highly commended award!

As you can imagine I’m over the moon!
So, I want to say THANK YOU for your support.
More than that though, I would love to know what you like to read about when you visit here. Is it about:

  • Latest news on the media?
  • Hints and tips for you in your role as a governor or senior leader?
  • Latest research available on a particular topic?
  • Stuff from the DfE
  • What others are saying?

You know, because you visit so do drop me a comment or sign up to receive all the news. This award has made me realise that this is not just MY blog. There are lots of you out there who share in it so

TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!
