Twilight in Honfleur
As I have said before on this little space in the internet, we love France. You’ll remember that we had a short break recently and we stayed in Honfleur. It is a wonderful place and just oozes holiday, peace, relaxation.
Although we have been many times, the camera is always there to capture the scene of the harbour. There is certainly a great deal of money floating in the water in the form of the variety of boats and yachts but in a way that adds to our sense of holiday.
One of Honfleur’s attractions is the array of harbourside eateries most offering moules and fruites de mare (mussels and seafood platter). It just has to be done on one evening at least. Try to imagine it as you gaze at Twilight in Honfleur.
This post is part of Alphabe-Thursday over at Jenny Matlock’s fabulous blog where we have reached the letter ‘T’. Do pop over and see some more!
Sunset is really the best time to take photos in France! Ok, maybe sunrise too!
This is really a terrific photo.
It reminds me of a painting.
it’s hard to believe that a scene like this is ‘real life’.
Thanks for sharing it.
A+
I don’t know what it is about scenes like this but they’re just so romantic. Love the photo!
Lovely photo — and oh! the memories and evocations it conjures up!

You can’t beat a waterside dinner, not sure about the seafood though!
Oh I need a weekend away!
I hope I can visit someday!
