Hibiscus!
Almost at the end of the Rainbow Summer School! This week the colour is INDIGO. This a very delicate, unusual colour but my neighbour has the most wonderful hibiscus in that colour. According to the books it is blue but – look at this picture – it’s INDIGO isn’t it?!

I thought Indigo was darker but I don’t care – this is a lovely picture. In fact, it’s really calming 🙂
I don’t know if it’s indigo or not but it certainly is lovely.
I wonder if you could propogate that. It is such an unusual shade!

Gorgeous hibiscus. Love the color, ours is bright fuschia pink, and it seems to get pinker every year!
They are gorgeous aren’t they & just get on with flowering! My kind of flower!
To be honest, I’m not sure that anyone really knows what indigo looks like so, as long as it’s vaguely purple-ish (sort of) and you talk about it in an authorative tone, it would take a brave person to argue 🙂

I think it loos indigo, but I am not sure I really know what indigo looks like.

I just love hibiscus! Lovely colour, but my monitor wants it to look violet-red in the middle and ultramarine-blue-violet towards the ends of the pedals. Read my post on the problems with the word ‘indigo’.
