13 Challenges – #11 /1 Broadstairs
Another challenge is started!
This is Broadstairs in Kent on a cold, grey February day. We love it here especially out of season. This is the spot where Dickens is said to have written Bleak House as there is a likely candidate over looking the bay.
Mind,on a day like this, there are plenty to choose from. Didn’t deter the fisherman though!
Just in case you have just joined the silliness here and have no idea what these challenges are about, do have a look at the tab at the top ’13 Challenges’ and have a look at the sections for each challenge!
Glad to see someone visiting out of season. many places close and look almost abandoned at that time of year. Visit now and it si a whole different place
That does certainly look like a cold day in Broadstairs – heh.

It’s on my list. I am ashamed to say I have never been there.
Hope you don’t mind, I’m using your blog as an example on my next post – you may get more traffic 😉
Fantastic! Thank you Alastair!
You’re welcome 🙂 Don’t know if it boosted your traffic or not 🙂
I’m just round the coast from you. 🙂
It is so funny to think that folks we link with could be near or very, very far away!
Yep. You are 21 miles, and some of the people I read are in America, Poland, Romania, Australia.
