100 Word Challenge for Grown Ups – Week#161
Well, here it is – the last prompt of 2015! Where has the year gone? I do hope, when you balance the pluses against the minuses, this year comes out in the black and positive. Mine certainly was but interestingly, I didn’t realise by how much until I sat down and thought about it. I think it is a failing of human beings that not only do we not appreciate the here and now but are also lax in remembering the good that has past. Of course we can recount verbatim the disasters!
With this in mind, I would like you to stop for a few minutes and think about your past year. I want you to remember a good time, experience, meeting or event and share it with us in 100 words. If you have read this far and think – ‘this prompt is not for me because nothing good happened’ – I don’t believe you! Even in the most depressing, dark, unhappy years, something happens that is light. You just have to remember it!
