100 Word Challenge for Grown Ups – Week #20
You are really turning up the heat on your entries and showing what skilled writers you are! They were so enjoyable last week. As you will have seen ( because you are going to make sure you have commented on them all aren’t you WEEK #19 ) Re gave us a wonderful tale in 5 parts. Now if you have that story in you and want to share it here, you can. It must stick to the rules of the week though. So, if there is a prompt to be included it has to be appropriately added to each part. Obviously, each part must be within the word count for that week, but you wouldn’t dream of going over would you? 😉
For those new visitors (where have you been) do join us! Read THIS and it will all become clear hopefully!
Now for this week we are going topical again. The King James bible celebrated it’s 400th birthday last week. Although it is a religious text is has formed our language across the years. It has some surprising phrases that we use often in everyday conversations.
The prompt this week is to use at least one of these for inspiration.
…the powers that be / the apple of his eye / the writing on the wall…
You do not have to include the phrase if you don’t want to but the piece must indicate which it was in it’s content. As usual you have 100 words and it must be suitable for a PG certificate.
The link will close at midnight on Monday 28th Novemeber
Click here to enter your link. It will take you to another page but I will link them here during the week! If you are able to tweet me when you have posted I will move them as soon as possible!
