100 Word Challenge – Week #7

As it is half term for many schools we will keep the linky open until 1st November

We are getting such a lots of super entries now from lots of different schools. One thing that jumps out at me as I read them all, is that they would be SO much better if you all read through your work before you posted it.
Now, I used to hate having to check my work but it is something that all great writers do. Sometimes when you have an idea in your head and your fingers are rushing to get those turned into a fabulous story, mistakes are made. By reading through (and reading it out loud makes such a difference!) you will hear the forgotten punctuation or the missing word. Your work is so good it deserves to be even better so do try checking!
Here is the showcase for last week. I do wish someone else has this VERY difficult job!

**********WEEK#6 SHOWCASE**********

Tomasso from High Lawn

Billy from Barcombe Primary

Lucy from Lever House Primary

As I hinted last time, I have given you a picture prompt this week. Now it is a very interesting photograph. Look at the materials that have been used. Look closely at where it might be. Don’t go for the obivous straight away!!As usual, you have 100 words ONLY to post a creative piece of writing for us all to share. Sharing is very important so please make sure you visit some other entries. We can improve so much by getting feedback from each other.

Link your post URL (not your blog!) below. The link is open until midnight on 1st Nov.

Those of you with class twitter accounts – don’t forget to follow @100Word.

So… get looking at that picture and writing some great posts!
